Controversy still rages in the UK and the debate continues about headlining acts at UK festivals… as you can imagine we're sorting out our festival cover. Amidst all this, one thing continues to stand out for us a – the brilliant line up at Roskilde Festival 2012 (in Denmark) – see poster below. No coincidence we think that Roskilde is a non-profit organisation working in association with The Roskilde Festival Charity Society - and that's a subject for another day - meanwhile enjoy looking at Roskilde's updated line up. Closer to home we’ve noticed that Lodestar has just announced that Sir Bob Geldof will be taking the stage on the Saturday. Their website - www.lodestarfestival.com
Some of you may remember that Pete Roe was featured as song of the day on March 14th… we're pleased to tell you that Peter is playing the Railway at Winchester on the 22nd of may… catch up with this great talent there…
Talking of talent, Alt – J were praised by Fearne Cotton for their "musical perfection" ...

... and Fearne's comments are an echo of our earlier review of this incredible band: " ... the feeling of perfection of a musical moment became almost too much too bear... the music was all and even time waited." www.stpaulslifestyle.com/blog/?bid=331
Alt – J have been on our "WATCH LIST" (of bands we've "tipped for the top") since the 18th of January this year. So if you haven't already, listen up to Alt-J now!
Meanwhile, Canadian Ten Second Epic have released a new video: 'Better Off' and in case you haven’t spotted it here it is:
Back home: Will And The People - another of our fourteen "WATCH LIST" bands have released a taster for their new album, check it out 'here'
'Friends' album taster by willandthepeople
We've been listening to this taster and judging by what we’ve seen in the past as well as this taster its going to be a blinder, so watch out for it…
Finally we're pleased to announce our next band in for an acoustic session is Mr. Tom. We are totally stoked for this as this band have gone from strength to strength and it looks like now the sky is the limit for them.
