Falling Girl Recording Session: Part 2

It’s Monday, and that means that Falling Girl are heading back from what has been a fantastically productive weekend. They’ve recorded their EP, which will be available shortly. Their incredible energy and enthusiasm comes across in their recordings and you can also see it in our behind the scenes footage of the bands second day of recording below. At the same time as recording brilliant grungey tracks such as “Seem Happy”, they collaborated with Si Genaro on harmonica, Ben Lodge on saxophone and Quantz Ramdin on piano in a quieter new and beautiful song called “P.S”.

Our Assistant Proudcer Ben Lodge jams along on the saxophone.

Quantz jams along, and his right hand seems to have broken through this dimenson.

What has impressed me is their enthusiasm and their modesty, and while being such talented musicians are such nice guys. Ludo said “Falling Girl gave birth to our passion here”. They also experienced English culture and cuisine, and had English scones for the first time, which was incredibly funny for all watching. While Angus and Ben have been working just as hard as the band, there’s been a nice relaxed atmosphere and have produced some fantastic material. All the hard work has been worth it, as we are left with some simply fantastic material for a band that has only been together for 8 months. We look forward to welcoming them back. Merci mecs.
