Introduction to Oceans Ate Alaska

Oceans Ate Alaska are new to the metal scene. Hailing from Birmingham, this band are a force to be reckoned with. Their not-too-lately released E.P has circled around the Internet with ease, becoming one of the most downloaded E.P's recently. James Harrisons sweet, crystal clear clean vocals, mix perfectly with his deathcore array of uncleans, creating a destructive, yet seductive sound to the lighter music.

Today (26/8) it's been a year since their first music video Clocks was unleashed to the Internet; exactly a year later, Clocks has gained a staggering amount of 1,000,000 views, just weeks after signing with one of the US's biggest labels - The Artery Foundation. 2012 looks like a successful year for the 5 piece Progressive Metalcore act from Birmingham, with pulse pounding drum beats, melodic guitar riffs, and brutal vocals, the band are surely going to be one of 2012's biggest bands to come out this year.
