This is my first song of the day as a St Pauls Lifestyle contributor and it feels great to have this responsibilty right now.
The song I've chosen is off Snarky Puppy's 5th album 'GroundUP' which is in all one of the best jazz/funk albums I've ever listened to. The song 'Binky' takes music to a whole new level and when listening I get lost in it. I love the transition from jazz and funk to instrumental hip-hop at around 7:14 in the video.
Another thing that makes this one of my favourite tracks and song of the day is the fact that I use the video as inspiration and motivation when I'm doing music; as the band is unbelievably talented and together in the music, when I watch and listen, it makes me want to try even harder to achieve my musical goals and ambitions.
