Free Pussy Riot - BAND PETITION now circulating - King Charles is next.

While at Strummer of Love, band after band such as Billy Bragg were coming to the stage expressing their support for Pussy Riot. So, we started a band petition on paper.

This is already signed by K T Tunstall, Emmy the Great, The Joker and the Thief, Roots Manuva, Hollie Cook, Archive 45, Ted@The Controls, R.A.S. Band, The Bermondsey Joyriders, Strummer of Love, The Farm, The Justice Tonight Band, Bad Manners and Beans on Toast (see below).

Since then King Charles tweeted that he wanted to sign the petition and we heard that many bands wish to show their solidarity for these brave women as they endure unjust deprivation of their freedom and worse.

We hear Billy Talent is one of these interested bands - they dedicated a song to Pussy Riot at their Reading gig see HERE.

The petition has been sent out to be passed from band to band so that all bands can sign it. - Starting with King Charles. The petition should arrive with King Charles today.

When you get the petition, please sign it and pass it on to the band standing next to you, or who you see next. When the petition is full, please return it to us in the pre-paid Special Delivery envelope which is attached to the petition. We will make sure it reaches Pussy Riot.

Pussy Riot can then use it to show the Russian authorities how much support they have. - They can show the trust of the music industry in their cause and the achievement which is a physical paper petition going from musicians hand to musicians hand to spread the word: "these women are innocent and should be free".

The petition will be something physical to symbolise the desire of the world that these women be set free.

Every time a band signs the petition, please would they tweet/facebook them signing it - maybe with a photo - and tag "Free Pussy Riot" - facebook - Free Pussy Riot - twitter @freepussyriot so that Pussy Riot knows you are supporting them.
